How are jewelry companies doing in terms of revenue, market share, marketing dollar spend, P&L breakdown, valuation, etc?
Jewelry companies have experienced sharp decline in 2009. Over 600 companies closed in 2009, and even more closed branch locations. Revenue declines were steeper than 2008. The largest public companies include Blue Nile, Tiffany & Co, Zale. Total market size in the U.S. is slightly under $24 billion.
