What’s a raccoon and why should I care?

Raccoons are inquisitive animals, always poking around to see what’s happening. You’ll probably notice if a raccoon has gotten into your trash, since they’re not always the most subtle in their comings and goings.

Raccoons are versatile creatures, happy to be munching on a vegan pizza crust, or perhaps a fish. They adapt to their environment and flourish.

Raccoons are playful things, amused by anything shiny, such as a ball of tinfoil, or just by stomping around the underbrush.

Raccoons are native to Central and North America, but ResearchRaccoons may be found just about anywhere.
